Top 10 lists

Ranked lists, computed rather than opined. Each board orders the products we hold a verified pricing record for, on a basis the page states before the first row.

• Cheapest at your volume — What each product would bill you in a month at the volume you set, worked out from the vendor's own published tiers. Nothing is estimated, and nothing is converted between currencies.
• Most capabilities verified — How many capabilities from our shared checklist we have confirmed against the vendor's own pages, each with the quote it came from. A blank is “we have not verified it”, never “no” — so this orders by what we have checked, and a product can rank low for being less documented rather than less capable.
• Cheapest entry point — The cheapest plan each vendor publishes a price for, before any volume is added. It is a starting price and nothing more: the plan that costs least to begin with is often not the one that costs least to run.

Two rules make these lists worth reading. A category with four verified products is a Top 4, not a Top 10 with six entries nobody checked. And a product that cannot be measured on the basis in force — quote-only pricing, a price published in another currency, tiers that stop below your volume — is never ranked last for it: it is named beside the board, saying which of those it is.

3 categories have no verified pricing record yet, so they have no board: Subscriptions, Accounting, Payroll. Ranking them would mean ranking prices we have not checked, which is the one thing these pages exist not to do.
